Today we left Beijing and said goodbye to our guide, George.  He named our group "sticky rice."  Our flight was delayed a couple of hours due to quote "fog".  I think it may have in fact been more of a smog issue.  So, we spent a lot of time in the Beijing airport and this made for a long day.

We arrived in Zhengzhou about two hours ago and we are all pretty tired.  Jodi and some of the others have gone to Wal-mart.  The kids and I are chilling in the hotel room.  Air quality is pretty poor here in this city.  Our spirits are high though cause tomorrow we meet Lexi Marie!

The kids will be delivered sometime between 9:30am and noon tomorrow.  We are 13 hrs ahead of you back home.  There are 8 kids coming from 6 orphanges.  So, it's a big day and we are all finding it quite surreal that it's finally here.  We have free internet in our room here so it should be easier to be blogging and posting pictures.  Can't wait to introduce you to our new daughter tomorrow!

  1. Hi family, so glad to see your post today and that you are so much closer to meeting Lexi. I'm so excited to see pics of her on Monday. I know there will be lots of tears of joy and I'm super excited. Sleep well tonight, you will need to be rested as sleep will be limited soon. lol. Love you all and give the kids a big hug from Debba. We continue to pray! Miss you guys!
