A REALLY SWEET DAY...Today we had planned for myself and the kids to go on this tour and Jodi and Lexi were gonna stay back at the hotel, but at the last minute we all decided to go.  We took a two hour drive to the Shaolin Temple which is the birthplace of KungFu and Zen Buddhism.  It's still a training school for KungFu today.  It was the nicest day we've had so far.  Close to 50 degrees, sunny and very little smog.  The tour was great and the KungFu show was fantastic.  Plus, we had a great day as a family of 5 and Lexi just keeps adjusting more and more.

She's really starting to be more comfortable and warming up to all of us rather than just clinging to me.  I must admit that is often very sweet, but it is so much greater to watch her become family with all of us.  One of the sweetest things she did today was to start giving each of us little kisses on the cheek and tonight she just roamed our room as we packed.  She's such a sweet little thing.  She's very quiet verbally and if she talks it's almost like a whisper but her facial expression and energy is wide open.  She's starting to really play with Keaton and Addison and all of her toys.  It's so amazing to watch her experience things for the first time.  We had gone to a KFC and Walmart (very different from the states) tonight and when we came out we could see some fireworks.  Her mouth just dropped open and she just stared and smiled.  What a great moment!  I could go on an on but it's getting late.

Tomorrow is another travel day.  We will take about a 3 hour flight to Guangzhou where we will finish out our trip.  Should be in the 70's there which will be nice.  Lexi will have a physical there, her passport is supposed to arrive Tuesday and we have a consulate appt on Wednesday.  Thursday evening we will take a train to Hong Kong, spend the night and fly home on Friday!

We continually appreciate the prayers and wonderful comments and messages!  Love you all!
